He has a thoughtful, attentive, and observant temperament. He tends to observe and understand what's happening around him first, then interact with his environment at his own pace. He's not particularly impetuous or overly outgoing; instead, he displays a natural ability to observe, assess situations, and remain calm—very attractive traits in a working dog.
